PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce speaks at Vaisakhi celebration

On April 14th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan joined Graham McGregor, MPP for Brampton North, to celebrate Vaisakhi with members of the Sikh community. MPP Lecce participated in traditional prayer, delivered remarks, and discussed several concerns with the members of the Sikh community, including vaping and the use of cellphones in schools. 

“Canadians of Sikh origin have contributed so much to Ontario’s economic engine, and to our gorgeous cultural mosaic,” said MPP Lecce. “Proud to celebrate Sikh Heritage Month as we mark Vaisakhi, the birth of the Khalsa. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.”
