On March 16th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined members of the Vaughan community at the Ahmadiyya Muslim community's Iftar dinner hosted by Humanity First. This local non-profit organization runs a local food bank and performs many other charitable services in the community. MPP Lecce has been a long supporter and volunteer with this food bank for over a decade. He delivered remarks and presented a congratulatory certificate.
“Canada’s Muslim community has contributed so much towards making King-Vaughan an incredible place to live, work and raise a family, and I am truly grateful to Humanity First for hosting the annual Ramadan Iftar dinner,” said MPP Lecce. “Thanks to the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in bringing people of all faiths together as we mark the month of Ramadan -- a time of reflection, sacrifice and charity. Ramadan Mubarak!”
