Updated: Oct 4, 2024

On September 20th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King--Vaughan, was joined by Raymond Cho, Minister of Seniors and Accessibility, to announce $14,500 for the King City Seniors' Centre through the Seniors Community Grant Program. MPP Lecce worked in support of this grant for local seniors -- the grant will support programming to combat social isolation, create physical and mental health programs, and activities to keep the seniors engaged.

"I have long supported the King City Seniors' Centre, so it felt right to return with Minister Cho to announce a $14,500 grant that will give our seniors the opportunity to stay active and provide programs to combat social isolation," said MPP Lecce. "I am determined to support the greatest generation, and I know this investment, along with the new long-term care homes in King and Vaughan will go a long way."
