Petition: Permanently Scrap License Plate Fee in Ontario

Our Government recently announced that we are eliminating license plate renewal fees and the requirement to have a license plate sticker effective March 13, 2022.

 

Eliminating this tax on commuters will help make everyday life more affordable and convenient for the nearly eight million vehicle owners in Ontario.

 

Do you agree with Premier Doug Ford and me that the license plate fee, which is essentially a tax on commuters, should be permanently scrapped and the funds returned to hard-working Ontarians?
